Why We Do This
We know what a difference it makes to have access to communications support. Mallory has had it in her own career, and it helped her share her perspective more widely and influence big debates about encryption and the open internet. Audrey saw it while working with Mozilla fellows and researchers, where the right support turned their work into stories that travelled far beyond a PDF. Ramma has seen what happens when that support is missing, especially in the Global Majority and in feminist organisations, where important voices often struggle to break through. Nadège has seen how translating public interest information into creative design can amplify access and engage a wider audience.
While working together we found that public interest technologists often face gaps in visibility and unequal access to support. That’s why we started this work together. We want more people in public interest technology to have the tools, confidence, and visibility to share their perspectives. For us, this isn’t about PR or communications. It’s about growing the field of public interest technology by making sure the voices shaping it are as diverse and influential as the issues at stake.
Who We Work With
We collaborate with:
- Civil society organizations advocating for digital rights, internet health, open source technology, and trustworthy AI
- Researchers, technologists, fellows, and campaigners advancing public interest technology and shaping its future
- Coalitions, initiatives and think tanks working to influence public debate and policy on technology with evidence and diverse perspectives
Let’s Work Together
Whether you’re launching new research, sharing a fresh perspective, or building your profile as a public interest technologist, we can help you reach the right audiences. We expanded the portfolio of Internet Exchange to provide Communications and PR services to people shaping technology who are diverse, public interest–driven, and shaping technology for the common good.
